At Tim Young Opticians, we take great pride in providing you with individualised optical care in / across our practice/s in Belfast. So we are pleased to announce that working in collaboration with The Hearing Care Partnership, we are now able to offer hearing care.
Our teams in practice are joined by The Hearing Care Partnership’s expert audiologist who provides a range of professional hearing care services, including complimentary hearing tests, hearing aids, ear wax removal, tinnitus consultations, and hearing protection.
Complimentary Hearing Tests
Concerned about your hearing or the hearing of a loved one? Or maybe you’d just like to gain more of an understanding of the world of hearing?
Through The Hearing Care Partnership, we’re excited to offer a fully comprehensive hearing assessment – absolutely free of charge. Our friendly audiologist will take the time to understand you and your unique needs during your appointment, before conducting a range of tests such as tympanometry, otoscopy, and pure tone audiometry. These tests will then allow us to provide you with a detailed overview of your hearing and hearing health.
Advanced Hearing Aids
Following your hearing test, your audiologist might recommend hearing aids to enhance your hearing capabilities. Through The Hearing Care Partnership, we proudly offer an exceptional array of cutting-edge technologies from some of the world’s leading hearing aid brands. Your audiologist will expertly guide you through the hearing aid options we have on offer, providing a personalised selection that meets individual needs, level of hearing loss and available budget.

With The Hearing Care Partnership, we can also offer an easy payment plan – spread the cost over 10 monthly payments with 0% interest.
Ear Wax Removal
When ear wax builds up, it can be a nuisance, causing common side effects such as muffled hearing, ear aches and symptoms of tinnitus. That’s why with the help of The Hearing Care Partnership, we provide a comprehensive ear wax removal service.
Employing state-of-the-art technology and the safest methods such as microsuction and irrigation, our audiologist or wax removal clinician will carefully remove any built-up ear wax. The removal method used will depend on your needs, level of wax build-up, and any pre-existing conditions you may have. After a successful removal, we’ll then carry out a hearing health check to assess your current hearing levels.
